Seth Comer, Division Chief - comer@ionafire.com
Seth began his career with the Iona-McGregor Fire District in February of 1999 as a firefighter/paramedic. He was promoted to Engineer in December of 2003 and then to Lieutenant in March of 2007. He was recently promoted to the Division Chief of Emergency Medical Services and Fire Training in May of 2010. Seth has completed the National Fire Academy’s Training Program Management curriculum, holds an Associate’s Degree in Fire Science from Edison State College and is wrapping up his Bachelor’s degree in public administration. Seth spent several years on the Southwest Florida Urban Search and Rescue Task Force Six team, holds technician level certification in multiple technical rescue disciplines and has managed the dive rescue training for several years. Seth holds certifications through Dive Rescue International as a Public Safety Scuba Instructor, Dive Rescue One instructor, and Dry Suit Instructor. Seth is married to Jill and together they have two beautiful children, Carleigh and Gavin. |

Joe Ursitti, Training Captain - jursitti@ionafire.com
Captain Ursitti came to Iona-McGregor Fire District in 2004 from Lehigh Acres Fire and Rescue where he spent nearly 20 years rising to the rank of Lieutenant/Paramedic on an ALS engine. He has a Bachelors’ Degree from Florida Gulf Coast University in Public Service Management and is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree in Public Administration. Captain Ursitti also works part-time as adjunct faculty for Edison College in the Paramedic and EMT program. He has numerous certifications and qualifications in the EMS and fire-related fields. His experience and personality make Captain Ursitti an invaluable asset to the Iona-McGregor Fire District and the Lee County emergency service community. |

Michelle Zepp, Administrative Assistant II - mzepp@ionafire.com
Michelle came to Iona-McGregor in 2003 bringing 20+ years experience in the administrative field with her. Her key responsibility is to provide administrative support to the Training Chief and Training Captain. She is proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, and Access. Her positive energy is an asset to the Training Division and our District. |
